The best measurement of intra ocular pressure when evaluating Glaucoma is to use a measurement device every hour for 24 hours. That was the old way. The new way is to wear a contact lens that continuously measures the intra ocular pressure, and records it to a device so it can be interpreted by an eye care practitioner the next day.
When this is available it will be the starting place to measure a number of body functions by using the eye, such as blood glucose monitoring without being invasive!
